The Roulette Wheel is a hard plastic dispenser that releases treats when your dog pushes down on it. It’s suggested that you first introduce your dog to the toy before they start playing. You can place a few treats in the shallow openings at the top and base, then allow your dog to inspect it, rewarding them whenever they touch the top of the toy. Then after demonstrating how to push down on it, give them a chance to figure it out on their own. We will say, we repeatedly tried to help our dogs figure it out, but they still struggled quite a bit with it. It definitely required more training than we expected. However, other dogs may react differently.

If your dog is really on a roll with the roulette toy, you have an option to up the difficulty. Just open the toy and turn the inner dial to your preferred level. In the easier setting, treats will bounce off of the dial and fall out of the opening. The harder setting keeps them spinning inside for a more challenging experience. The toy works with dry kibble or treats inserted via the openings at the top.

Next, the Bob-A-Lot is a wobbling treat dispenser that can help your dog stay physically and mentally active. Available in both small and large sizes, this toy can store dry treats and even a full meal’s worth of kibble that falls out as your dog nudges it. There are two separate cavities of the toy that store treats. Each cavity has its own opening, and you can control how challenging you would like the toy to be by making the opening narrower (to make treats dispense more slowly) or wider (to have more of them come out at once).
