Youngever’s Crinkle Fish cat toys come with catnip inside to attract cats’ interest. The the crinkly sound, interesting texture, fish-shape, and bright metallic colors will keep them engaged. Each toy measures about 4.5 inches by 1.5 inches and they come in packs of 15.

Jackson Galaxy Crinkle-Flies are stuffed with catnip and offer some crackling noises with a realistic butterfly look and beautiful photo print design. They come two in a pack and can be attached to Jackson Galaxy wands, which gives you the option of playing with your cat.

The PetFavorites Original Mylar Crinkle Balls are ideal for cats that like to chase and pounce. Each ball measures 1.5 inches wide. You can find these as a six-pack, a twelve-pack, or a 24-pack. We tried the six pack, with three different color combos and two of each-color. We thought six balls was definitely enough for our two cats.

The Cancor Innovations Jumbo Crinkle Ball will appeal to cats with strong hunting instincts. It works really well at creating crinkling sounds. And in addition to the mylar material, it has feathers coming out of it to make it resemble a bird.

In spite of the “crinkle” in the name of this product, the SmartyKat Fantasy Frenzy Crinkle Unicorn does not actually make any crinkling noises. This is a felt unicorn-shaped toy with dangling legs, feather mane, and catnip to entice cats.

Should I get it?

Youngever’s Crinkle Fish cat toys were a hit with Harley and Lola, who were drawn to the catnip scent and enjoyed picking them up by the string. We think the metallic look of these toys also captured their interest.

The Jackson Galaxy Crinkle-Flies could be fun for cats who enjoy chasing real butterflies. We had high hopes because they are stuffed with catnip and Harley is a catnip fanatic. However, it was hard to detect the catnip in these, and neither of the cats seemed to enjoy them, other than showing a little bit of interest in playing with the antenna.

On its own, the PetFavorites Original Mylar Crinkle Balls did not appeal to Harley and Lola. . But once we started to throw the ball, they got into it.

While the Cancor Innovations Jumbo Crinkle Ball Cat Toy is good for cats that like to hunt, it’s not necessarily for every cat. One of our cats really enjoyed it but the other didn’t seem into it.

If you’re looking for just a catnip toy, feel free to give this a shot, feel free to give the SmartyKat Fantasy Frenzy Crinkle Unicorn a shot. However, this did not make any crinkling noises when we tried it, unlike what the name suggests.
