The Coolin’ Pet Cot from K&H Pet Products helps cool down your dog thanks to a padded center that you can fill up with cold water. Although in our experience, the cooling pad didn’t stay cold for long on the more hot and humid days. Still, it’s easy enough to change out the water and refill as needed. It’s also very easy to assemble the frame and cover, which is made from heavy denier fabric that can hold 200 lbs. of weight. It was generally pretty sturdy, although when picking up and moving the bed, we found that the legs can fall off easily. When all put together, the bed is raised seven inches above the ground. The rubber feet are slip resistant to keep it in place on indoor floors, though it can be used outdoors as well.
2Pet’s Elevated Cooling Bed provides a platform seven inches off the ground where your dog can relax indoors or outdoors. We like that our bed included a mesh window in the center to create airflow and breathability that helped Dewey stay cool. It only took us a few minutes to assemble by connecting the poles that make up the bed frame, and then sliding them through the fabric, using the Velcro strips to hold everything in place. Right off the bat, Dewey was a fan of this bed, and he seemed to be very comfortable and secure while lounging on it. We thought that it was definitely sturdy for a dog of his size (he weighs about 60 lbs.) 2Pet actually designs the bed using steel tubes and durable nylon fabric that can hold pets weighing up to 90 lbs. The nylon is waterproof and the bed is really easy to maintain — so if you need to clean it you can just scrub, vacuum, or even hose it down and let airdry.
