Looking for a new place for your little one to eat their meals in? Then make “The Chair” and “The Booster” from LALO your next purchase.  The Chair and Booster are designed for kids about 6 months to about 3 years old or 30 pounds – whichever comes first. The Chair comes in seven different colors; we’re reviewing the Coconut one today. It’s 3 in 1 design means it can go from a high chair to  a booster to a play chair with ease. Its tray is removable and top-rack dishwasher safe. The Chair’s straps and cotton cushion are also machine washable. The straps are adjustable with a 5-point safety harness and as a whole the Chair weighs about 10 pounds so it is easy to move around your home. The Booster comes in five different colors, but we’re also reviewing the Coconut version today. It can be secured to most adult dining chairs and weighs about 8 pounds so it’s very travel friendly. I really liked these two products, but wish the removable tray came with a cup holder. However, it was very easy to wipe down so I can’t complain too much. Our Chair came with a seat cover and we chose not to use it because it was cloth and not easily cleanable. The first time we used this white seat was during a spaghetti dinner and we realized how the bib doesn’t catch much as a lot of food went into the Chair itself. This made the decision of us not using the nice white cover super simple. I liked that it was easy to transform the Chair from a chair to a large highchair easily. However, the instructions said we could transform the foot rest to accommodate a taller child, but we could not do that. The instructions didn’t show us how to do it and we couldn’t figure it out. I didn’t want to use excessive force and break it, but I did give it a good try.

Should I get it?

I would highly recommend both of these products. The booster is great if you don’t have a lot of storage but the Chair is great to help grow with your child. Once you’re done with the highchair portion of it, you can use it as a regular play chair for your child.

Pros

Pros for the Chair:

  • It’s lightweight.
  • Easy to wipe down.

Pros for the Booster:

  • It’s easy to move around from chair to chair.

Cons

Cons for the Chair:

  • There’s a large gap between the child and the tray.
  • The tray isn’t wide and doesn’t come with a cup holder.

Cons for the Booster:

  • The straps get easily twisted.
  • It’s hard to take the straps off to wash them and it’s even harder to put them back.
