Party with your favorite CoComelon characters when you play the new preschool game CoComelon Pattern Party. This is a spinning and matching game that is easy to learn and a great way to help kids with shape and color recognition.

To play, you’ll need two to four players ages 3 and up. Each player chooses a color and takes all the tiles of that color. Then, the players choose one of the four spinners and a Goal card. The Goal cards have basic green sides and advanced red sides, so you can make the game easier or more challenging depending on the age of the players. Take turns spinning your spinner and doing what you spin. If you spin a picture (character, color, shape, or pattern), play one of your tiles on a matching space on the board. If you can’t find a matching space, you can play on any empty space. But you can’t play on a space that already has a tile. If you spin Wild!, play one of your tiles on any space on the board, even on top of another tile. And if you spin Swap!, everyone passes their spinner to the left. Then spin again. Play until a player has four of their tiles showing on the game board that match what’s shown on their Goal card, such as a square of four tiles or a vertical row of four tiles.

The game comes with a game board, four spinners, four goal cards, 64 tiles, and instructions.

Should I get it?

Fans of CoComelon will really like this easy-to-learn game. It features favorite characters, such as JJ, his older siblings TomTom and YoYo, and JJ’s friends Cody and Cece. The game is a great way to help preschoolers recognize shapes and colors. We also like that the double-sided Goal cards offer two difficulty levels. This makes the game more fun and challenging for adults or older siblings to play alongside younger players, and it also ensures that you can up the difficulty level for preschoolers as they grow.
