OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

The NextFit Max ClearTex Extended Use Convertible Car Seat from Chicco offers 25% more legroom compared to other NextFit car seats. More space and safety for your kid while in the car.

It can be used in the rear-facing position for younger babies, with a 50 lb weight limit; or in the forward-facing mode for older children with a 65 lb weight limit.

The gentle ClearTex fabric features no added chemicals, for babies and parent comfort.

The car seat features a multi-position Easy-Extend Headrest System with a one-hand adjustment that raises with the harness to effortlessly accommodate growth in both modes.

The DuoGuard head and torso protection has a deep rigid shell and EPS energy-absorbing foam.

Why Is It Useful?

It is easy to install. The premium LATCH connectors and the SuperCinch force-multiplying tightener reduce the overall car seat movement. While the dual RideRight bubble levels and 9-position ReclineSure leveling system help verify and achieve proper angle in the vehicle seat.

Who It’s For

It is recommended for newborns up to 65 lbs or 49 inches.

What To Be Aware Of

This Chicco car seat also has a LockSure steel-reinforced seatbelt locking system, comes with a Cup holder and a removable newborn positioner to provide support for babies 4-11 lbs.

The seat pads are removable and machine washable. The car seat comes in different colors, sold separately.
