Inspire exploration and play in babies with two wooden toys from Hape.
The Shape Sorter Xylophone is a musical instrument and shape puzzle in one. Use the baton to hit the metal bars and make music. Or hit the wooden shapes to activate those same tinkling tones. The back of the instruction booklet includes familiar songs, such as "Frere Jacques" and "Jingle Bells", that kids can play by hitting the colored bars as shown. The wooden shapes can be removed for put-and-take play. There is a built-in holder for the baton at the top of the xylophone.
The My First Blocks set includes 80 wooden blocks in different shapes and sizes: triangles, circles, squares, half circles, rectangles, and arches. They're coated in a wear-resistant paint to make them withstand a lot of imaginative building play. Little ones can build and stack however they'd like, and, with parent participation, explore sorting the blocks by color and shape. The top of the storage box doubles as a shape sorter for another way to play - and to make cleanup more fun.
Each of these sets is a great way to engage babies and toddlers in imaginative play, while also helping them with fine motor skills, shape and color recognition, and exploring sounds. Parents will like that the majority of the toys are wood as opposed to plastic, and that they are classic types of toys with no electronic components.
Each of these toys is for ages 12 months and up.
Each set is sold separately.
