Inspire storytelling and roleplay through the eco-friendly toys from Bababoo and Friends. Both the Roleplay Stacking Toy and the Play World Farm, for ages 2 and up, inspire imaginative play with cute wooden animal figures and Play Tales story cards that jumpstart the creativity.

With the Roleplay Stacking Toy, kids can stack and nest the five colorful rainbow pieces. Then drive around Lion Bababoo and Bunny Pippa in the heart-decorated vehicle. Kids can also stack pieces on top of the bird house, which rings when you shake it, and there’s a snail hiding in the rattling bush. The package becomes a play area for the pieces, with a road to drive on both inside and outside of the box. Kids can even decorate the paper road. Parents can read the story on the Play Tales card, as well as the activity suggestions on the back of the card to inspire the play and help children with shape sorting, fine motor skills, and color recognition.

The Play World Farm is a wooden train set that comes with Lion Bababoo, Elephant Lolo, Whale Wilma, and Bunny Pippa figures, plus a variety of wooden farm animals that can be transported in the train cars and played with in the barn. The wooden track pieces easily fit together, though adults will need to assemble the playset, and are compatible with other popular toy track brands. The pond is a double-sided puzzle that preschoolers can put together. The train pieces connect via magnets, and some of the accessories have magnets so that they can be lifted up with the kid-powered crane, just like in the story that parents can read on the Play Tales card. Activities on the back of the card engage kids in play that helps with motor skills and logical thinking. And this set also has a paper playmat on the back of the packaging for kids to decorate.

Both of these sets offer a lot of great play for preschoolers. We like how the Play Tales cards encourage parent-child play. Parents looking for toys made of sustainable materials will appreciate that these toys are 99-percent plastic-free and made from 100-percent FSC-certified wood. Preschoolers will enjoy the cute look of the Bababoo and Friends figures and making up their own stories as they play.
