Ms. Rachel comes off your TV screen and into your baby’s hands through a new line of Ms. Rachel toys, designed to support learning for littles.

The Ms. Rachel Speak & Sing doll for babies 6 months and up is a touch-activated plush doll that plays words, phrases, and music from the Ms. Rachel videos. Press the right hand music button to sing along to favorite songs, such as “Icky Sticky Sticky Sticky Bubble Gum”. Or press the left hand speech button to hear Ms. Rachel phrases, such as “I’m so proud of you!” Two AA batteries are included, and the toy has two levels of volume. A bonus learning card features extra play tips and skill-building activities.

Ms. Rachel’s Surprise Learning Box for babies 3 months and up is a plush box with five plush accessories and a scarf that babies can pull out of the box and put back in. There are also four interactive learning environments for babies to explore. On one side, play peek-a-boo with Ms. Rachel. Another side features a bathtub with a pocket that some of the accessories can fit inside to play out taking a bath. Another side features a bedroom scene with lift-the-flap blanket. And the playground scene on the back has a Velcro spot so that one of the accessories can stick to it and pretend to play. These scenes can be used to help build routines and vocabulary. A bonus learning card is also included with this toy with more play ideas.

Should I get it?

We really like the sensory play with the Surprise Learning Box. This toy has a lot for young babies to explore, and when parents play along, it helps build vocabulary and social skills. Slightly older babies who watch Ms. Rachel videos will like hearing Ms. Rachel talk and sing to them offscreen with the plush doll. Squeezing the doll’s hands is easy to do and helps with fine motor skills. Bring the Ms. Rachel fun with you on the go with this doll.
