Editor's Review
If you think whoopee cushions and bodily functions are hilarious, then you’ll enjoy playing the Farting Sheep card game. The game comes with 58 cards, 35 tokens, and one whoopee balloon. The balloon gets blown up and placed in the middle of the table. From the card deck, remove all Clothespin cards. You’ll only need as many of these cards as there are players. You can play the game with two to four players. Shuffle the cards and deal cards face down to the players along with sheep tokens. The number of cards and tokens depends on the number of players you have. The rest of the cards get placed face down as a draw pile. To play, take turns playing a card from your hand next to the discard pile. The action on the card only affects the next player. There are Action cards, such as Ghost Sheep, Shepherd Dog, Dolly Sheep, T-Rex, Thief Sheep, Cannonball Sheep, and UFO. These cards allow you to steal sheep tokens or discard another player’s sheep token. Special Action cards include Confused Sheep, Stop Sheep, Black Sheep, Magic Sheep, Tea Time, Clothespin, and Party Sheep. With these cards you’ll be able to make everyone pass their cards to the left, cancel any Action card, switch cards with another player, take a card from another player, and more. Farting Sheep cards can only be played in combination with a Combo Card or three more of the same Farting Sheep: Quack Fart, Concussion Grenade Fart, Silent Fart, and Slide Whistle Fart. Playing all four of the same Farting Sheep performs a MEGA Fart, which means you get to smash the whoopee balloon and automatically win the game – unless another player has a Clothespin card and can save himself. Or you can combine a Farting Sheep card with Jalapeno, Lasso, Haircut, or Quicksand to steal or discard a sheep token from another player. You don’t have to play a MEGA Fart to win. You can also win by herding sheep tokens. If you are the only player left in the game with sheep tokens, then you win.

Should I get it?
The theme of the game may seem gross to some, but it’s certainly humorous for younger kids and will be a funny game to play at your next family game night. We like all the different card options, encouraging players to be strategic with each turn. Despite some misspelled words in the instructions, the game is pretty easy to learn. Everybody will want to smash the whoopee balloon at the end.
