Editor's Review
This wave of Marvel Legends comes with 6 main figures and 2 larger ones. We have MJ, Matt Murdock, Sandman, Holland Spider-Man, McGuire Spider-Man and Garfield Spider-Man. The two deluxe figures are Doctor Octopus and Green Goblin. These two deluxes come in plastic free packaging, so you can’t see the contents inside, unlike the normal wave of 6.
The first thing that stands out about these figures are the head sculpts. The sculpt and paint combined give off an excellent likeness of each actor, although Zendaya’s could look a bit more like her. The sculpted detail on the bodies is sharp as well, aided in great effect by the paint apps, which is most evident on Norman’s goblin suit. The articulation on these figures runs the spectrum of “pretty good” to “amazing”. Each one has poseability in the head, shoulders, elbows, wrists, abdomen, waist, hips, knees, and ankles. Daredevil’s suit and Doc Ock’s jacket obscure the poseability slightly but it’s not too bad. Doc has his mechanical arms attached to his back, and they’re made of flexible material with a wire running through the middle. They can be tough to pose, but once they’re in place, they hold their position firmly.
Accessories-wise, all but Mr. Murdock have exchangeable hands, and otherwise he comes with his white cane and the brick he catches in that very cool scene, Sandman includes oversized forearm and hand replacements, MJ has Dr. Strange’s spell box, the Spider-men have masked and unmasked heads, Doc Ock has alternate tentacle claws, and Green Goblin includes a masked head, goggles and his goblin glider, plus a three way stand. Posing on the goblin glider can be a bit of a challenge due to the angle of the ankle pivot vs the footrest placement, but with a bit of patience you can get a dynamic pose in place.

Should I get it?
The quality keeps coming with MCU Marvel Legends. With key characters we have been waiting for since the movie launched, this wave definitely delivers! It takes a bit of patience to pose some of them just right, but it’s well worth the effort.
Pros
- The sculpts are excellent. In particular, the heads.
- The paintwork is precise.
- They have nice articulation across the board.
- The accessory count is strong.
Cons
- Posing can be a challenge at specific times, like with the Goblin glider or Doc’s arms.
