Build and decorate your own Christmas ornaments with Stanley Jr. Christmas Ornament Kits! There are three to choose from: a gingerbread house, a Christmas tree, and Santa’s sleigh. Each is sold separately. Each comes with between 20 and 29 pieces for assembling a wooden ornament and then decorating it with paint and stickers. The wood is FSC-certified. From those pieces, you don’t get everything you need, however. A hammer, a screwdriver, and glue will be required. But holes are pre-drilled into the wood, and the picture instructions are easy to follow. Adult assistance will be required as some steps are difficult due to pieces not lining up properly.

This is a fun way to get into the holiday spirit. Crafty kids ages 5 and up will have fun making their own Christmas ornaments – with adult assistance – and hanging them on the family tree. These would make fun keepsakes to look back on year after year.Â
