Editor's Review
Grill up some fun with the Play-Doh Sizzlin’ Grill Playset. With 10 colorful cans of Play-Doh, kids can make pretend Play-Doh food complete with ink-stamped grill marks and sound effects. There are 17 total play pieces here. You get a realistic-looking, kid-sized grill with lights and sounds. (Three AA batteries are required for that but not included.) Then there’s plastic utensils, play food stampers, an extruder, and a roller. The grill itself has a bunch of different food molds for making burger toppings, fruit, and desserts. Kids can mold a burger patty or pineapple slice, for instance, place it in the center of the grill and press down with the grill lid to leave grill marks on top of the pretend Play-Doh food. This works because there is a black ink pad in the grill lid. It’s very easy for this ink to transfer to kids’ hands. To prevent messy play (and keep the ink from drying out), you can close and lock the ink pad lid. Assembly is required, and the instructions were fairly easy to follow.

Should I get it?
Kids will like the size of this playset and all the accessories it comes with. Making pretend food out of Play-Doh is a classic way to play, and the lights, sounds, and grill marks add to the imaginative play, even if the ink pad is a bit messy.
