Editor's Review
If you’re in the market for a carrier that will grow with your child, then make sure you grab the Chicco SnugSupport 4-in-1 Infant Carrier as soon as possible. The SnugSupport has four carry positions accommodating children from 7.5 to 33 lbs. The positions are two parent-facing options for your infant and then, as the baby grows, it easily transitions to front-carry outward-facing to let them interact with their world. And finally, for older babies, it converts to a back carrier for continued use. The natural “M” position seating provides support for your baby and its structured, ergonomic seat provides your baby with comfort as they travel. The SnugSupport includes a padded head support for newborns and adjustable leg panels can be customized for growing babies. The carrier has wide shoulder straps and a structured support system for your lumbar and abdomen muscles that distributes weight evenly along your hips, back, and shoulders. The easy-adjust back and waist straps create a custom fit for wearers of various body types. I loved how many ways you can wear your child in the SnugSupport. We used the back for our 18 month old and the front facing for our 3 month old. The youngest baby is not ready for the outward facing yet, but it’s nice to have it as an option as he gets older. However, when I had the older child on my back, it felt like the support part of the carrier was digging into my lower back. And it wasn’t very easy to clip in the back when the baby was in the seat which was very inconvenient.

Should I get it?
I think it’s perfect for infants but once they hit about 20 pounds the support isn’t as comfortable.
Pros
- It gives you a ton of versatile options to wear babies of any age.
Cons
- The support system digs into your back when you wear your child on the back.
- It’s hard to clip by yourself when the baby is in the seat.
