If you’re ready to play Pokemon, then the Iron Leaves ex Battle Deck comes with everything you need to play. Inside the box, you’ll find a 60-card deck, reference cards, a rules booklet, a single-player playmat, a set of damage counters, a large metallic coin, a deck box, a strategy sheet, and a code card to play with the deck online. This is a level one game, so it’s perfectly suited to beginner players. The Quick Start guide will walk you through the parts of a card, how you set up the gameplay space, and the actions you can take on your turn. As a Pokemon trainer, you’re trying to knock out your opponent’s Pokemon. As soon as you play Iron Leaves ex onto your Bench, you’ll be able to switch it into the Active Spot. This deck has some other cool tricks, so make sure to read through the instructions and familiarize yourself with all the cards. There are also advanced rules for when you’re ready to level up your gameplay.
