Editor's Review
Whether you want to dress up as Black Panther or want something really cool to keep out on display, the Marvel Legends Series Black Panther Electronic Helmet is perfect for both. Now, if you’re thinking this is an updated version of the same Black Panther Electronic Helmet that came out in 2018, think again. (You can watch our video review of that here.) This is essentially the same toy just re-released because of Wakanda Forever.
If you’ve never seen this toy before, here’s what it does. First off, you have to insert three AA batteries, and you’ll find the battery compartment hidden underneath the chin. Then, you can wear this helmet. It’s got a rubberized eye and nosepiece and some thin padding at the forehead and back of the head. The helmet also stretches to accommodate the size of your head.
While wearing it, you can see through the tinted eye lenses, but pressing the button on the right side of the helmet pops them up and activates lights. (You’ve got to give the button a pretty hard push.) The left button activates more of what Hasbro calls “Vibranium Light FX”. A short button press activates a 15-second light interval. But if you press and hold the button for five seconds, you’ll activate limitless continued light until you press the button again to turn it off.

Should I get it?
As we said back in 2018, the lights on this look really cool, and the helmet has an authentic look. We just wish that it also had character phrases and/or sound effects, but true fans won’t mind adding some of their own to recreate their favorite movie moments. Overall, this looks great on display, and it’s also really fun for roleplay.
Pros
Lights up
Movie-authentic look
Imaginative play
Great collector’s item
Cons
Batteries are not included
Doesn’t play sounds or phrases
