SpyraThree Electric Water Blaster Review

Editor's Review
You’ve never seen a water blaster like this before! The SpyraThree is an electric water blaster with three different ways to play. Because it weighs about five pounds without water, it’s a hefty blaster best suited to older kids ages 14 and up.
The first thing you’ll do is charge the blaster using the included USB-C charging cable. The digital display shows the battery status – when it’s at 100, it’s full. It can take about six hours to get a full charge, and from that, you’ll be able to blast 2,200 times before needing to recharge.
In order to fill it with water, you dunk the front end of the blaster into water up to the immersion depth fill line. Make sure to only use clean tap water. Then slide the trigger forward to activate the pump, which automatically fills the water tank. It can hold 25.36 fluid ounces of water and that gets you 22 blasts, depending on the mode you’re in. The digital display shows how much water you have left.
Choose between three game modes to determine how you blast. In Open Mode, every time you press the trigger, a powerful water blast will be released. In Burst Mode, pressing the trigger releases three consecutive water blasts. This looks cool but will deplete your water tank faster. And in League Mode, you’ll have a normal water blast when you press the trigger, but you’ll get a PowerShot when you press and hold it.
This is available in blue or red.

Should I get it?
This is a pretty high-tech water blaster. In our testing, the blaster launched water at least 20 feet. We like that there are three ways to blast, each very powerful and easy to do. However, it does run out of water quickly, and we found ourselves refilling every 10 to 20 blasts. While younger kids might be able to use this for a short period of time, because of the weight and electronics, older kids and adults will be able to wield this blaster for longer battles.
