Is it a puzzle? Is it a game? Well, G’Nuzzle is both. You’ve got to be the first player to get rid of all your puzzle pieces by connecting them to the group puzzle in the center. The game can be played with two to four players, ages 7 and up. The number of players you have determines how many puzzle pieces everybody gets. There are two 48-piece puzzles to play with – one with pets and one with pickles. (This is created by the folks behind Pickle Everything card games.) You’ll flip the included sand timer, and the first player flips their pieces face-up. This player has one minute to connect as many pieces as possible. There are rules for connecting pieces: Any joined pieces go into the center as part of the group puzzle. You can play two connected pieces or more to the center, even if they don’t attach to the main group puzzle. But no single pieces can ever be placed in the center unless they connect to the group puzzle. When time runs out, it’s the next player’s turn to flip the timer, flip over their pieces, and start connecting. Once puzzle pieces are flipped over, they stay that way for the rest of the game, and you can arrange and connect your own pieces in preparation for your next turn. The first player to connect all their pieces wins. The other players can keep playing to see who comes in second or third (if you have three or four players), and you can add an extra challenge by not touching your pieces unless it’s your turn. The finished puzzle will measure 11 by 17 inches.

Should I get it?
This game requires speed and good eyesight. With a traditional puzzle, you have time to locate where all the pieces fit. But this game turns puzzling into a speed challenge. Keep in mind, though, that being the fastest doesn’t guarantee that you’ll be the winner. That all lies in which puzzle pieces you get and the order in which the pieces get connected. This game will definitely be a new challenge for puzzlers.
