Editor's Review
Add to your Gecko Run Marble Run with expansion sets that add cool stunts and tricks. If you don’t know, the Gecko Run Marble Run system allows kids to build marble runs on walls, doors, or windows. The Starter Set gets you, well, started. (Check out TTPM’s review of the Starter Set here.)
But you can add to the Starter Set with the Marble Run Twister set comes with a vortex funnel to make your marbles go for a spin. You get two extra tracks, four adapters, a sheet of nano-adhesive pads, a track bridge, a track turn, a twister top, a twister outlet, and two metal marbles.
The Marble Snake Run offers a stop-and-go zigzag maze for your marbles. It also comes with two extra tracks, four adapters, a sheet of nano-adhesive pads, a track bridge, a track turn, a snake back, a snake front, and two metal marbles.
The Marble Run Trampoline adds some bounce to your marble run. Experiment with the positioning of the trampoline to see if you can make the marble fly far, bounce downward, or catapult to a higher track. The set includes two extra tracks, four adapters, a sheet of nano-adhesive pads, a track bridge, a trampoline frame, a trampoline band, and two metal marbles.
And the Marble Run Loop adds a loop stunt to your marble run. How much speed will your marble need to make it through the loop? The set includes two extra tracks, four adapters, a sheet of nano-adhesive pads, two track bridges, a loop top, a loop bottom, and two metal marbles.
All the track pieces are made from renewable materials. Everything sticks to the wall thanks to the nano-adhesive pads, which are strong yet removable so that kids can create different designs or move their marble run from one wall to another. The adhesive also leaves behind no residue.

Should I get it?
It’s cool to build vertically with the pieces, which saves precious floor space and just offers a new experience. And it does encourage kids to think creatively and work on problem-solving skills.
However, my 8-year-old said it best: “This toy is cool to watch when it works.” But it doesn’t always work. There’s a lot of trial and error necessary to get the marbles to land where you want them to, and half the time, your plans are thwarted by track pieces falling off the wall, leading to a very frustrating experience. We wish the nano adhesive stayed on better. We also tested this on a window (glass) but still had some pieces that fell off.
