Chicco MyFit ClearTex Harness & Booster Car Seat Review

Your little one deserves a car seat that will grow with them through their transition into becoming a big kid and the Chicco MyFit Harness and Booster Car Seat is the only car seat they’ll need.  The MyFit comes in three different colors: Gardenia, Atmosphere, and Fathom. We’re reviewing the Atmosphere one today. The MyFit is a harness/belt-positioning car seat that’s designed to grow with your child from toddlerhood through becoming a big kid with an easy transition from a five-point harness to a vehicle seat belt using booster mode. When in harness mode, the MyFit should be used by children who are at least 2 years old, between 25-65 pounds, and up to 54 inches tall. And when used in booster mode, the MyFit should be used by children who are at least 4 years old, between 40-100 pounds, and between 38-57 inches tall. The MyFit’s nine headrest positions accommodate growth throughout both modes and work together with a four-position recline to support proper posture. It has an extra deep seat seat with dual-density foam padding that is sloped and contoured for superior comfort. The DuoGuard provides two layers of protection with a rigid shell and its EPS energy-absorbing foam surrounds your child’s head and torso. The seat shell is also reinforced with a steel frame for superior impact protection. The MyFit is designed to deliver an easy installment every single time. Its four-position ReclineSure  leveling system and RideRight bubble levels help achieve and verify proper angle in your vehicle’s seat. Using the Premium LATCH connectors and LockSure belt-tightening system with wide routing makes it easy to achieve a tight and secure fit with LATCH or the vehicle seat belt. It also comes with two dishwasher-safe CupFolders with push-button removal so you can put them in and out with ease. The MyFit is also super easy to clean! Simply machine wash the fabrics with cold water and hang them out to dry. And, for the plastic parts, use a sponge and mild soap before towel drying it. The harness can be cleaned the same way. I really enjoyed how versatile the cup holders are as my kid likes to snack on the go. Plus, it’s super easy to clean and not too wide to feel bulky in your car!
