American Girl Disney Princess Rapunzel Doll, Painting Accessories & Pascal, and Hair Accessories Review

Rapunzel becomes the latest Disney Princess to join the American Girl doll collection. This 18-inch doll features long blonde hair and wears a purple dress just like the one from the movie Tangled. The purple satin gown features a gold foil-print bodice with criss-cross lacing detail, striped puff sleeves, and a glittery skirt with iridescent organza peplums at the waist and a satin overskirt with golden embroidery. The doll’s purple flats also have golden embroidery and a pink ruffle detail. Rapunzel’s green hair clip features two pink flowers with yellow rhinestone centers.

Of course, Rapunzel needs her friend Pascal, and you can add him along with the tools for Rapunzel’s favorite pastime with the Painting Accessories & Pascal. Along with a Pascal figurine, the set includes a color-reveal faux canvas that displays Rapunzel-inspired artwork. Painting on the canvas with water reveals the image, which disappears when the canvas dries. The Rapunzel doll can hold the faux paint palette and pretend to paint with the purple paintbrush with real bristles. There’s also a transparent “paint” jar that can hold water to brush onto the canvas or a removable faux droplet of colorful paint-swirled water.
