Haylo the Horse Review

Haylo the Horse is the newest member of the Bene Buddies team, a group of plush that help teach kids benevolence. These stuffed animals with a purpose include a storybook and 15 tokens that kids earn whenever they do something kind or helpful. 

Haylo is all about helping kids manage their emotions. In its book, “Haylo Lends a Helping Hoof”, kids will read about how Haylo helps his friend talk about how she’s feeling and find ways to cope with those feelings, such as breathing deeply. The song in the back of the book helps kids identify and express their emotions. 

Whenever kids deal with one of their emotions in a positive way, parents give their child a token. The tokens fit in the back pocket of the Haylo the Horse plush. When all the orange, purple, and green tokens have been earned, the child will receive the golden token to trade in for a special reward, as determined by the parents. All tokens are easily removed from the plush by unzipping the pocket on the other side.
