Tummy Time Water Play Mat Review

If you’re looking for a toy where your little one can move and groove, then the Inflatable Tummy Time Mat – Splashin’kids is the perfect mat for you. This is for ages three months and up. Riley loves it and he’s nine months now. The mat is 26’ wide by 20’ tall by 2.5” high. Constructed from heavy duty PVC, this was incredibly easy to set up as it took me about five minutes. Fill the outer part with air, no pump needed. Then fill the inner mat with the desired amount of water. We used just enough for the foam toys to move around. It’s easy enough to empty the air and water, fold it up, and bring it with you on the go. Make sure to let it air out before folding it up. If you leave the water in there and fold it up, you risk getting mold. We’ve had this for a few months and the air didn’t leak at all. All water stayed in as well which is such a relief as Riley is not gentle with this. Riley loved this for his tummy time, but now that he is crawling around, he loves playing with the foam toys in the water. The fun colors really kept Rileys attention. It has 6 brightly colored foam toys inside: a fish, whale, starfish, dolphin, fish, and octopus. This also helps with his eye coordination and development. This is great for sensory development and strengthens their neck muscles by doing tummy time.
