The Flip-32 is a massive blaster. Regardless of your size, you’ll feel like like Rocket Raccoon holding this blaster in your hands. The blaster is very weighty, and feels like it is made of quality plastic that will hold up over time. The firing mechanism is controlled via the handled lever on the bottom of the Flip-32. Move it forward and back to prime, and then pull the trigger to fire two darts. Pull half-way to fire one, and all the way for two, or press it down all at once to fire both. Now given the name, I’m sure I don’t need to tell you how many darts this blaster can hold. You can fire 16 darts before needing to flip. Hold down the safety latch on the green handle and pull back to rotate the double headed barrel 180 degrees. This is very satisfying to pull off. After repeated flips, the mechanism never once jammed! If the orange priming lever won’t move, don’t flip your lid. Just make sure that the green handle is all the way in front, and the orange latch unpressed, otherwise you won’t be able to prime.

The Flip-8 is similar in concept, but different in execution. To prime, pull the spring loaded catch down, and to flip, pull back the green sight on the top. Easy! Both Blasters feature appealing turquoise, neon green and orange color schemes, and have extremely sharp sculpts, and great detailing.

Should I get it?

Both blasters are quite fun. The flip mechanic is fun to pull off, due mostly in part to the force required to do so. You really feel like you’re wielding a powerful canon. The Flip-32 can be pretty front heavy, just bear that in mind.
