Many Transformers fans who grew up with the original animated series hate the Michael Bay movies. Well, I’ve got some great news for the haters because those old Transformers cartoons are now available in one, out-of-this-world collection. All 98 episodes from four seasons have been remastered and repacked into a 15 disc set. The set also includes old Hasbro toy commercials, PSAs and art galleries.
The Transformers: The Complete Original Series will be available on May 24, 2011. There doesn’t appear to be any mention of a Blu-Ray set. The list price is $100 but I’ve found three different sites with prices under $70.
