Valentine’s Day is famous for its gifts of candy and flowers and while both are great (who doesn’t love a gorgeous bouquet of flowers?), neither one lasts. Try giving your family a Valentine’s gift that lasts more than just a day – the gift of quality family time. Some of my favorite family memories growing up revolve around games played together.
This Valentine’s Day consider giving your family a new board game to enjoy together and create lasting memories. Board games offer hours of quality time no matter your kid’s ages are. Here are some of our favorite family board games.
For Preschoolers:
We love HABA games for the very young including My First Orchard which can be played as young as 2 years old.
For Grade Schoolers:
Jungle Speed is lots of fun for the family to play together; recommended ages are 8 and up.
For Middle Schoolers:
The Logo Game is a fun new game that is just as much fun for middle schoolers as it is for adults.
For High Schoolers on up:
Apples to Apples is always a hit. Phase 10 Twist is a new version of a classic, or you can go completely classic and play Rummikub, Clue, Monopoly, or Scrabble.
Do you play board games at your house? What are your favorites?
