Engage baby’s senses in seven ways with the 7-in-1 Senses & Stages Developmental Gym. As your baby grows, there’s a different way to play with this newborn-to-toddler gym.

Starting right at birth, the gym provides visual play through black-and-white patterns and bright colors on the gym’s arches and dangling toys. This helps develop focus and tracking. Then, from two months and up, it’s all about tummy time. Use the tummy time pillow to help babies build neck and core muscles. At three months old, set up the xylophone panel so that baby can kick the keys for more than 70 songs, melodies, sounds, and phrases. From ages 5 months and up, there’s a lot for babies to explore, from the hanging and linked toys, visual cards, and different textures. Once your baby can sit up on his own, fold up the mat’s sides to create a cozy play space. And at 9 months, this play space can become a ball pit when you add the 20 balls. The balls can be stored in the sloth storage pouch when not in use. Then, for babies ages 1 and up, detach the xylophone panel so kids can sing and play with the xylophone wherever they go.

The toy comes with three AA batteries for the musical features, and there is volume control for quieter play. Some of the assembly was a little tricky to figure out only because the black-and-white images in the instructions were hard to see clearly. The mat and tummy time pillow are machine washable.
