Turtles of Grayskull Review

Editor's Review
Both children of the 80’s, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Masters of the Universe make for a natural crossover, as evidenced by these awesome figures! For consideration we have Leonardo, Raphael, and Donatello. The Turtles of Grayskull have body proportions and articulation very similar to those of the Masters of the Universe Origins Figures. They have movement in the head, shoulders, elbows, wrists, waist, hips, knees and ankles. The classic look pairs very well with the more modern articulation, though the robust armor may encumber you very slightly in the posing department.
Each turtle’s look is modified to give them Eternian armor, with unique flourishes for each character. The sculpts are stellar, very crisp, and detailed. Paintwork is also clean, making it hard to distinguish natural plastic color and paint apps. And of course what would the Turtles be without their iconic weapons, with an Eternian twist? Leo has dual blades that can combine into one suspiciously power sword-looking number, Donnie has a golden staff, and Raph not only sports a helmet, but a giant sai, and claw sai blade. Also, not only can you store some accessories on their back shell, but the shell can detach and be used as a shield. We mean this as a tremendous compliment, but this is like the best fan art, come to fruition.
