You’ll be making hundreds of friendship and rubber band bracelets with all the cool new Rainbow Loom sets from Choon’s Design.

The Rainbow Loom WrapIt Loom allows kids ages 8 and up to make four different styles of friendship bracelets. Explore macrame, friendship, wrapped, and beaded bracelets. The WrapIt Loom serves as a ruler and thread holder, plus you can organize any beads you plan on using in the loom’s tray. The set comes with a loom, three skeins of nylon cord, two skeins of polyester thread, five skeins of cotton thread, 80 clay disc beads, 200 alphabet beads, 200 acrylic beads, 50 gold-colored beads, 50 pastel beads, 10 flower beads, 10 pastel beads, six rubber bands, 30 S-clasps, and instructions.

Kids ages 7 and up can make cute Care Bears bracelets with the Care Bears Cute-tique set. You get a plastic tote with 10 spaces perfect for holding the 2,400 bands, 20 beads, 16 Care Bears charms, and the exclusive Cheer Bear Happy Loom with dual hook. The instructions show you how to use the loom and add beads and charms using the 70 G-clips.

And if you want to add more charms to your bracelet-making tools, each Cute-tique Charm Bracelet Kit (for ages 7 and up) comes with 16 more charms plus 400 bands and a speed loom. Choose from three themes: Fantastic Dreams, Gummy Sweet, and Rainbow Space. Follow the instructions to make a fishtail bracelet, and then add 10 beads and charms using the 25 G-clips.

Should I get it?

All of these will appeal to crafty kids who like making bracelets. The Rainbow Loom Cute-tique products are definitely easier to make than the bracelets with the WrapIt loom. If you’ve ever made rubber band bracelets before, you’ll be creating lots of cute and colorful themed bracelets with the fun charms and easy-to-use looms.

The WrapIt Loom is a bit tricky thanks to poor instructions. Even watching tutorial videos on the Rainbow Loom YouTube channel couldn’t help us figure out how to insert two thread ends into one tiny seed bead hole. While we like that this introduces kids to different bracelet styles, it’s going to be rather frustrating for the average 8-year-old.
