Editor's Review
Here come the grannies riding around in the Little Tikes Bluey Grannies Car Coupe just like on the TV show “Bluey”. This coupe is a Bluey-themed take on Little Tikes’ classic Cozy Coupe. It’s got a purple body with images of Bluey and Bingo on the doors, plus a yellow and teal top and a friendly face on the front. It even has a working key and horn, which plays nine granny phrases from the show. Two button cell batteries are included. To further enhance the roleplay, the car also includes a bean can and grannie glasses. There’s a cup holder for the beans. Using the handle on the back of the coupe, parents can push the car with the floorboard in or remove the floorboard so kids can use their feet to drive themselves around. There is a maximum weight limit of 50 pounds.
Adult assembly is required, and you’ll need a screwdriver and a hammer. You can expect it to take about 50 minutes, and not all of the steps are easy. We got stuck on one step early on and actually had to have the manufacturer send us a replacement. That one worked, but there were still a few pieces that were a struggle: putting the lock on the door, inserting the rear wheel axle, inserting the key, and inserting the floorboard hooks. Some of the steps are a two-person job.

Should I get it?
This is such a fun way to promote physical activity and imaginative roleplay for young Bluey fans. Kids will like pretending to be grannies just like Bluey and Bingo. The sound effects and realistic features really bring the play to life. However, we wish the assembly process hadn’t been so difficult. If you’re planning on giving this as a gift, assemble it first to avoid impatience and disappointment.
