Editor's Review
Kids can listen to music without the distraction of outside noise thanks to the BTH20 Active Noise Canceling Headphones for Kids. Thanks to two noise-canceling modes, these offer up to 40 decibels of noise reduction. Gentle Noise Reduction Mode reduces environmental noise in quieter settings, such as at home or a doctor’s office. But when riding in a car or a plane, Enhanced Noise Reduction Mode blocks out engine and mechanical noises. These also offer safe volume control, employing the iClever Sound Refiner and 80 decibel volume limiting technology. This still delivers clear and balanced sound quality. The headphones, which come in their own carry bag, have 90-degree rotating padded earmuffs and an adjustable headband for comfort. The large buttons on the right earpiece make it easy for kids ages 3 and up to adjust volume and turn the headphones off and on. These connect via Bluetooth but also come with a 3.5mm cord. Use the included USB cord to charge the headphones. Depending on what mode you’re using, you’ll get between 35 and 60 hours of continuous use from a full charge.

Should I get it?
These are comfortable to wear and do a good job of canceling ambient sound. That feature means that kids won’t need to turn the volume up so loud to drown out outside noises, and that protects kids’ hearing. These would be ideal for younger kids who listen to music or play video games and need their hearing protected. The carry bag makes them easy to pack for on-the-go use.
