Hot Wheels Massive Loop Mayhem Track Set Review

Editor's Review
The Massive Loop Mayhem set is an epic track in every sense. Reenact races by placing multiple cars through the motor and watching them go. Cars pass through the giant 28-inch wide loop, and across a figure eight track, where they death-defyingly leap back across the loop’s path, and ultimately back to the motorized booster to start the lap over.
The intersection of the figure eight and the loop is perpendicular, creating tension as cars whiz by in a series of near-misses. Place enough cars, and eventually there will be a crash, which is, of course, what we’re all really here to see. If you’re feeling particularly mischievous, you can launch a car going the opposite direction right into the high-speed loop mayhem and cause a crash yourself! Hit the pedal on the side track as hard or as soft as you want to control the rouge car’s speed. The loop truly lives up to its name, but despite its incredible size, the track’s motor has no issue propelling the cars up and down the loop with ease.
This set can be connected to existing Hot Wheels tracks, however it is a one way entry. Once cars enter the loop from outside, they will remain in the Massive Loop Mayhem course and not exit (until crashing, of course!) There is special parking for up to six extra Hot Wheels cars on top of the loop for quick and easy access.

Should I get it?
Absolutely! This set can be connected to other existing tracks you may have, and the loop is indeed massive and quite the novelty. Plus, crashing toy cars is just plain fun. The launch pedal lets you control the exact timing and speed for introducing the chaos of another car, encouraging repeat play and experimentation with multiple and varied cars.
