Giant Pop-Up Pancake Monster Game Review

Set up is easy and is clearly illustrated in the directions. Before your first game apply the pancake sticker to the top of the button. Secure the Pancake Monster in place by placing the button into the center post. Then press down the bottom once to begin! There are two ways to play. In the first game the objective of the game is to be the first player to feed all of your pancakes to the Pancake Monster. Each pancake card has 1, 2, or 3 toppings. To feed the Pancake Monster, place a Pancake card onto the button in the center of its mouth. Then press the button the same number of times as toppings shown on the card. Make sure you press the button down quickly and firmly until you hear a click each time. If the monster pops up, the next player goes. If he pops up, collect all the cards inside its tummy.

The objective of the second game involves not only the pancake cards, but also three items of your dirty laundry you have at home! Be the first player to feed all of your laundry to the pancake monster without having him notice. Each player places a pancake card in the monster mouth, presses the same number of times as the toppings shown. If a player plays the same flavor topping as the previous player, they can feed one item of clothing inside his mouth, next to the pancakes. If the monster pops, that player must take all the laundry inside. The cards however are shuffled and handed out to each player clockwise. The player who successfully places their last piece of laundry into the Pancake Monster’s mouth without causing it to pop up is the winner. It’s a chomping good game!
