Diaper Genie Select Pail Review

Editor's Review
Dirty smelling diapers are now a thing of the past thanks to the power of the Diaper Genie Select Pail. The pail comes in five colors: Lily White, Stone Grey, Sage Green, Cloud Blue and Polka Dots. It can hold up to 40 newborn diapers and features a Push N Lock clamp that helps prevent odors from escaping for ultimate odor control which will keep your home smelling fresh. The pail is made of stainless steel and equipped with a foot pedal for easy one-handed operation. Its soft-closing lid ensures less noise in the nursery while your baby is sleeping. It comes with a starter square refill that can hold up to 165 newborn-sized diapers and is compatible with the Diaper Genie Jumbo square refill which can hold up to 810 newborn-sized diapers. The pail is better for the environment as one JUMBO refill is equal to three Diaper Genie round refills, which uses almost 50% less cartridge plastic than round Diaper Genie refills. Overall, I really like the pail. We can easily have the diaper pail hidden in the living room because the odor control is amazing. However, it doesn’t have a lock on it so if Riley keeps opening it, I’m afraid we will start finding toys in there.

Should I get it?
This was perfect for our living room because it hid the smell so well. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have a lock for the lid so our 2 year old tries to put toys in it.
Pros
- It has ultimate odor control.
- A silent soft close lid.
- It’s easy to change out the refill bag.
Cons
- There’s no lid lock.
