Make a wish when you make a wind chime with the Craft-tastic Wishing Wind Chime. This easy-to-make kit requires no tools but a little adult assistance. This wind chime combines nature and crafting. Before you assemble the wind chime, go on a nature walk to gather leaves, flowers with stems, and small sticks. Then you follow the instructions to thread blue cord through the five chimes and five wooden flowers, weave green cord and your nature items through the weaving ring, and attach everything together on the wooden snail-shaped base. Punch out one of the pieces of paper, write down your wish, fold it up, and place it in the weaving ring or on a chime or wish swirl. Then hang your wind chime outside and listen to it play music whenever the wind blows. Maybe wishing magic will make your wish come true.
The kit includes 19 wood pieces, 8.83 yards of nylon cord, five metal chimes, 15 paper die-cuts, and instructions.

Should I get it?
This craft kit really has two components. First, it gets kids exploring outside as they find things to add to the wind chime. The second part is the indoor DIY of the wind chime, and this is the part that younger kids will need assistance with. Once it’s built, this makes a nice addition to your outdoor decor, though the chimes are a little small and light, so we were disappointed at the sound quality of this wind chime.
