Create custom room decor with the Craft-Tastic Wall Collage String Art kit. This lets kids ages 10 and up arrange a collage in any shape using 50 prints and string art designs. You’ll start with the string art first, choosing one large design (yin yang, alien, or flower) and one small design (peace sign, strawberry, or butterfly). There’s also a photo frame to string and add a photo to. Out of the assortment of prints (which include everything from positive sayings to flowers and planets), choose your favorites and stick everything to a wall or door, layering pieces; adding in your own photos, ticket stubs, and mementos; and using foam spacers to add dimension. The adhesive is paint-safe.
The kit includes step-by-step instructions, 50 cardstock prints, eight yards of double-sided adhesive tape, 35 yards of cotton thread, 60 foam spacers, three foam canvases, three pieces of cardstock, 39 pieces of glitter paper, and 140 pins.

Should I get it?
This will be a fun way for tweens to customize their rooms and express themselves. Making the string art is really fun, and we like that this kit gives kids options for which designs they’d like to create. The kit comes with lots of great pieces, but we like that kids can add their own items to the collage, as well. This is all about customization and creativity.
