With the Cool Maker Stitch ‘N Style Fashion Studio, kids can sew stylish accessories in an easy way. This offers pre-threaded sewing with smart stitch sensors that know when to sew. It’s really as easy as placing your fabric underneath the needle guard, turning on the machine, and guiding the fabric along the stitch line. The machine automatically stops before the fabric edge.
Following the instructions and using all the included tools, kids start by sewing a sunglasses case, and then progress to a scrunchie, a headband, a belt bag/clutch, a purse, and a plushie. Items can be decorated with special stickers that activate when wet. And you can use this machine with other fabric to continue sewing even after you’ve completed all of the kit’s projects.

Should I get it?
This is pretty easy to do, though there will be a learning curve for beginners. We made the sunglasses case as our first project, and our stitches were a little crooked and we jammed the machine (don’t worry – it’s easy to unjam), but the finished product is still something we can totally use. Crafty kids can use this as a starter sewing machine, and they’ll have fun completing all the projects in the kit, as well as getting creative to make more with expansion packs or their own fabric.
