Bedtime Defenderz Lexi Review

Editor's Review
There’s someone new to help scared kids sleep at night. Meet Lexi, the newest member of Bedtime Defenderz, a line of plush toys protecting kids from the “bad guys” as they sleep. Just like the other Bedtime Defenderz characters, Lexi wears a glow-in-the-dark belt. (This works best when you shine a small flashlight or your phone’s flashlight on it first.) She also comes with a power band slap bracelet that kids can wear to roleplay communicating with Lexi. And at bedtime, kids can read Lexi’s comic book to learn more about the character and how her special powers keep nightmares away in Snoozeland. Online animated content will be available soon on YouTube.

Should I get it?
Lexi makes a great snuggle buddy for kids who are afraid of the dark, but we can also see Lexi inspiring lots of imaginative play during the day. The whole Bedtime Defenderz line would be a nice addition to a bedtime routine for kids ages 3 and up.
Pros
Adds a female character to the Bedtime Defenderz line
Comes with a comic book
Inspires imaginative play
Cons
Glow-in-the-dark feature didn’t work very well
