No matter what you draw, Drawbot will follow it. This smart robot reads your marker line thanks to an internal optical sensor. All you have to do is grab a blank sheet of white paper and draw lines with a black marker.
There are six different Drawbots to collect in the colors of red, blue, green, pink, yellow, and purple. Each one has light-up eyes and poseable arms. But they all work in the same way. To get you started, the robot comes with a white sheet of paper with a black figure eight design already on it. It also includes a black mini marker and a blank sheet of white paper so that you can draw your own designs once you see how the Drawbot follows the figure eight. Then grab white computer paper from home and keep drawing. Make different challenges for your Drawbot, and if you have more than one Drawbot, make them race. The creative possibilities are endless.
If the Drawbot gets to the end of a line, it'll turn around and go back to the start. If it loses the line, it will run around in circles until it finds the line.
Kids will like watching their Drawbot follow the lines, especially lines that they've drawn. They can make their robot move in all sorts of ways and come up with all sorts of ways to play with their robot. This will inspire creative and imaginative play.
Drawbot is for ages 3 and up.
Make sure you've drawn a thick line. If the line is too thin, the robot may stray off the line.
This includes four button cell batteries.
