Box Office, Turtle Power Triumphs!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles exceeded expectations by taking in $65 million in it’s debut weekend. Despite bad reviews and a 19% rating on, audiences turned out for the rebooted action/comedy and gave the movie it’s #1 spot on the box office list. Last week’s #1, Guardians of the Galaxy, slid to #2 with another $41.5 million. That puts Guardians’ total domestic take at $175.9 million in just two weeks.
