Dumb and Dumber To, the sequel that took 20 years to make, opened in #1 this weekend with $38 million. That’s Jim Carrey’s largest live-action opening in over 10 years. Big Hero 6 had another great weekend and was just 2 million off of the #1 movie’s weekend take. The Disney/Marvel animated movie took in another $36 million in it’s second weekend out and has already crossed the $100 million mark. Interstellar dropped to #3 and new movie, Beyond the Lights, opened in 4th. Gone Girl rounded out the Top 5.
