Three new movies opened over the weekend with two of them battling for the #1 spot. Gone Girl, the Ben Affleck crime thriller, debuted at #1 with $38 million, but was followed closely by the horror prequel to The Conjuring, Annabelle, which opened with $37.2 million. The third new movie, Left Behind starring Nicolas Cage, opened in 6th place with $6.8 million.
After 10 weekends in theaters, Guardians of the Galaxy remained in the Top 10. The movie took in another $3 million and has now earned a total domestic take of $323.4 million. That puts the movie at #32 on the All Time Highest Grossing (Domestic) list. TTPM (that’s us) has reviews of the toys for Guardians of the Galaxy, which you can see by clicking here.
