FurReal Peanut the Playful Monkey Review

If you’ve ever wanted a pet monkey, well, here’s your chance thanks to FurReal Peanut the Playful Monkey. Okay, so this is a plush toy monkey, but with more than 100 reactions, it’s almost like the real thing. You’ll need six AA batteries to activate the electronic features, and batteries are not included. 

Peanut has six sensors that respond to your touch: top of the head, right hand, left hand, mouth, belly, and left foot. Press the button on Peanut’s foot, and the monkey will react with different movements and phrases. Peanut can stand up, sit down, lay down, and get up and walk. The monkey may ask you to hold its hand to walk with it or lift it up to flip. You can also pet Peanut’s head for different movements and phrases. Or tickle Peanut’s belly for laughing and wiggling. If Peanut gets hungry, place the bottle in the monkey’s mouth to hear feeding sounds. If you hold Peanut in the air by the hands, then you’ll make Peanut swing and flip all the way around. If you hold Peanut’s hands while the monkey is standing on a surface, you’ll help Peanut learn to walk. If Peanut falls while walking, don’t worry; this monkey knows how to get back up all on its own. Rocking Peanut makes the monkey fall asleep. And any time Peanut lays down, it will fall asleep within 30 seconds of inactivity.
