Editor's Review
Everyone knows that Disney is the happiest place on Earth, but you can also have a happy day at the Magic Kingdom when you play the Disney Happiest Day Game Magic Kingdom Park Edition. In this game, you’ve got to move around the board to find attractions, characters, and locations on your cards to score stars. The game kind of plays out like you’re spending a whole day at Magic Kingdom, and the double-sided game board reflects that with a daytime version and a nighttime version. When Tinker Bell reaches the top of Cinderella Castle, night falls, and the board flips, and some paths will change to get ready for the fireworks (just like at the real park). The player with the most stars at the end of the game/day wins.
More specifically with this game, each player gets four Park cards placed face up in front of them. You can choose to play as Pluto, Donald, Minnie, Mickey, Daisy, or Goofy. On your turn, you spin the spinner. If you spin balloons, take one balloon token of each color you spun. Then you may spend any number of balloon tokens you have to move. Each balloon lets you move along one matching path to the next space. If you spin Castle or Question, choose to move directly to Cinderella Castle or answer the question on one of your cards and move directly to the space that matches the card. At the end of your turn, if you are on a park space, score all your cards that match that space by turning them face down and placing them in your score pile. If you are on a train station space, draw a new card and place it face up in front of you. Then move Tinker Bell one slot up Cinderella Castle. If you are on the Cinderella Castle space, draw cards until you have four in front of you. Then move Tinker Bell one slot up Cinderella Castle.
The game is almost over when it’s night and Tinker Bell reaches the top slot on Cinderella Castle. The players get one last turn, and the game ends. Count up the stars on the cards in your score pile to see who has the most. Bonus stars are awarded to players who end the game on Cinderella Castle and to the player who has the Tinker Bell marker.

Should I get it?
This game will make you wish you were really at a Disney theme park. I played this game with my husband and 6-year-old daughter. The 6-year-old thought the game was taking too long, my husband was really into the strategy behind the game, and I enjoyed seeing Dole Whip and The Carousel of Progress on the game cards. In fact, it’s fun for everyone when they get a card that has their favorite ride, character, or location on it! And the card questions, should you choose to answer them, spark conversation and get you reminiscing about your past Disney trips. Disney families will definitely want to own this game and play it over and over again.
