The LEGO Art World Map is a full reconstruction of a flat international map, reproduced aesthetically with multicolored LEGO studs. This build should take you roughly 17+ hours to finish and consists of a whopping 11,695 pieces, so, be sure to take breaks. While it is a lengthy build, it is surprisingly simple. Not to say it isn’t very involved, just elegantly broken up into digestible parts. You build the map one square at a time, linking them together with connector pins. Ultimately, the build will leave you with three discrete rectangular sections, which you can combine in whatever way you like. Want Asia to be in the middle? You can do that. The Americas instead? No problem. Once you get it set up to your liking, you can build the frame which cleanly borders the entire map, and completes the look of the set. Two pieces for mounting the map on the wall are included, so you can proudly display the completed work.

Should I get it?

This set is very fun to build, especially for individuals who enjoy meditative activities. The build is a journey in it’s own right! Once completed, it’s an excellent display piece that you can admire over and over.
