What It Is

Kids can tame the lions with Cragger's Command Ship, part of the new LEGO Legends of Chima building theme. The story behind Legends of Chima is that, at one time, human-like animals lived together in harmony. Chima was once a paradise, but heavily armed barbarian species have changed it, and now best friends have become enemies, fighting over a powerful natural resource called CHI. It is the source of life, but if put in the wrong hands, it can also lead to destruction.

This 609-piece set lets kids build Cragger's Command Ship with opening mouth, articulated tail, flick missiles, and detachable mini boats and helicopter. Kids can also build jet bikes for the Leonidas and Lennox minifigures. Additional minifigures include Cragger, Crominus, Crooler, and Rawzom. Four CHI weapons are included.

Is It Fun?

Much like Ninjago before it, LEGO's new Legends of Chima has a great narrative that will capture kids' imaginations. This is a very detailed set with lots of moving pieces and built-in action. Cragger's Command Ship will inspire lots of narrative-based play as kids pretend to prevent the lions from stealing the croc's CHI and continue the Legends of Chima story.

Who It’s For

Cragger's Command Ship is for ages 8–14.

What To Be Aware Of

This set took us two hours to build, and the instructions were very easy to follow. The pieces are divided into two bags, each with its own set of instructions. Don't mix pieces from the different bags together or building will become confusing.
