Some video games are like a good book, and once you start playing, they’re hard to put down. Galactic Taz Ball, from Warner Bros. Interactive, is one such, level-turning game. Galactic Taz stars everyone’s favorite Looney Tunes whirling dervish, the Tasmanian Devil aka Taz, in a hilarious, fast-paced adventure to stop Marvin the Martian and find a giant chicken leg!
This wacky adventure game is divided into five distinctly themed worlds including a forest, jungle and tundra. Each world is made up of multiple levels containing floating courses that the player has to guide Taz through while collecting coins and defeating or avoiding enemies. Controlling Taz is done solely with the touch-screen and a digital track ball on the screen that allows players to move Taz and get him up to spinning speed. Taz will encounter all sorts of Marvin’s robot henchman along the course. Some can be defeated by spinning through them, but others will require the player to stop Taz from spinning and perform a ground-slam (jump up and crash down) move. Each world ends with a unique boss battle at the end, and each boss is more difficult to defeat than the previous one.
