Weekend Box Office: Taken Not Giving Up Top Spot

Five new movies opened over the weekend and none of them were able to take the top spot from Taken 2, which earned another $22.5 million. Of the new movies, Argo and Sinister performed fairly well coming in 2nd and 3rd while Here Comes the Boom belly-flopped into 5th place and Seven Psychopaths slinked into a terrible 9th place opening. The last of the new movies, Atlas Shrugged: Part 2 didn’t even make it into The Top 10 with just $1.71 million.

10. The Perks of Being a Wallflower ($2,166,000)
