Weekend Box Office: Maids Slaughtered the Barbarian and Vampire

Wow, what a weekend of upsets at the box office. First of all, The Help, which was second last weekend, took the number one spot away from Rise of the Planet of the Apes despite three new movies opening. Those new movies, Spy Kids 4, Conanan The Barbarian and Fright Night barely managed to enter the top three with Spy Kids taking the third spot. Spy Kids: All The Time in the World earned barely a third of what the previous Spy Kids (3D Game Over) did in it’s opening weekend making the fourth film the lowest grossing Spy Kids ever.
