Weekend Box Office: Apes Swing by The Help

Rise of the Planet of the Apes held onto the #1 spot at the box office but the ladies of The Help gave those apes a run for their money coming in a close second. Final Destination 5 (Is that an oxymoron?) oozed into third, while The Smurfs continued their relentless march in fourth. 30 Minutes or Less, the actionomedy from the people who brought us Zombieland, rounded out the top 5 and nobody cared about Glee The 3D Concert Movie, which debuted in a terrible #11. Make that almost nobody because TTPM‘s family film critic, Cynthia Fuchs, saw the movie and reviewed it.
